This post is dedicated to the game freaks in my batch at network labs. So here we go

1. X has its origins in the earliest mainframe games of the 1960s and 1970s. The earliest ancestor of X was Jerimac Ratliff's Cube. The basic gameplay style became a popular segment of the puzzle game genre during the 1980s.. 3.This is a tactical first person video game developed by Valve corporation which originated from a Half life modification by Minh Gooseman Le and Jess Clife. he game was the most played Half-Life modification in terms of players, according to Gamespy in 2008. As of August 2011, the Counter-Strike franchise, which debuted 12 years ago, has sold over 25 million units. Identify the game.

4.Z is a fictional charecter in his video game series, created by Japanese video game designer Shigeru Miyamato. Serving as Nintendo's mascot and the main protagonist of the series, Z has appeared in over 200 hundred video games since his creation. Though originally only appearing in platform games, starting with Donkey Kong, Z currently appears in varied video game genres such as racing, puzzle, party, role playing, fighting and sports. Z?

5. This is a video game franchise created by Jordan Mechner, originally developed for and released on the Apple 2 Computer in 1989. The original game and its first sequel were 2D platform games, but the series made the switch to 3D  in 1999. Even though Mechner has been involved with the series in varying capacities throughout its history, the games themselves have been developed and published by several different companies.Identify.
